Ghostly goings on at the community centre...

A special Halloween event is being organised for the Community Centre on Friday, October 30. Children's party events will take place in the early evening, while ghost stories and scary tales will be on the cards for later in the evening. Events will start at 6pm with kids activities and games. At 7.30pm there will be a small Halloween bonfire on the Fairhill and some fireworks will be sent up nearby (we are reliably informed).

Then at 8pm it is time to take your seats for a scary storytelling event with Valerie Beattie, David Hume and anyone who wants to being a ghostly tale or yarn for an outing. Admission will be by donation (suggested £3.00) which includes a glass of wine and nibbles.

Expect to hear supernatural scary tales of the Redhall Butler, the Bellahill Banshee, the White Lady and a whole range of others. Be sure to bring someone with you so you don't have to walk home alone...
